Abstract

Stunting is one of the most concerning health problems in Indonesia. It is a condition where a child experience growth failure due to chronic malnutrition so that a child is too short compared to other children in their age. This paper aims to show about a service carried out by college students to fulfill a community service course in college. The method used in this research is observation. The researchers conducted some socialization or counseling to local residents in about utilization of Moringa oleifera as an attempt to prevent stunting among pregnant women in Darungan Village, and distribution of moringa leaves pudding as well. The result shows that the pregnant women’s knowledge about moringa leaves are enough, however there are some who still don’t know about turning it into a dessert.
